JOB SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
% t2 c, U* ?: L: k- |( O( v2 H: m- ?SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical  
( p! X6 U: I! c, d2 HSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects  2 {: i4 ?/ V5 J9 J9 l0 q( d8 C
of Course Pack production.: D4 P. |$ I3 a. |  t# b
5 S  L) }6 `6 n$ m
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:6 I) a/ I# }# P3 B
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning  $ o. g) {0 v9 J
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.# D/ J  b4 ]  H- M1 U0 _
' ?; U0 ?* x7 y/ n1 [4 d! k
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including  - a9 c. A3 r1 i
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.! z% P! h1 `) J1 E0 z

8 q8 H3 i6 d* A. }9 J3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of  ( x/ ^( t3 I  \
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and  
5 E9 l1 F$ a  ^# `keeping appropriate and accurate records.7 H7 S4 _1 U+ w/ K) R: t
% R+ V( ~+ R  y# P. E, {' U8 \
4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment  
) n" U6 n' ^1 K" Ffailures to the Operations Manager.
& z' _1 m* X) P( m! e, h/ m3 w8 J* k2 v: L- `+ r7 }. s6 X4 X. @
5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,  1 W6 M  _1 D9 Y1 l4 x2 p6 U/ T% U
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; {2 O! @5 G' z' Z) K, A2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication  4 f* r+ L3 }. P3 w: @
skills.1 l2 T- `* K8 X( u4 K
! C3 c% q& C3 x9 T( ^. v
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
0 k" d$ j; X' H+ I$ B& B1 z  T  a3 Q) S: W' u' s
4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.# ^/ x4 u2 c% t2 H
! u6 X6 ~2 ~, Z1 O$ D% o
5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.& Q2 V. o4 ^! F3 ^1 s1 [1 H: j

Wage: $9.18/hour
1 e8 @! K2 W7 t9 H; i) c$ N8 X% Q! mShifts: Monday-Saturdays 7am-12pm; 12pm-5pm; 5pm-10pm
