JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
3 D% w& o5 _% v0 N9 }6 LSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
2 M! ?+ B: t3 `7 tSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
' I% S8 G. g0 k8 k+ f; Vof Course Pack production.; U2 J- h& F. ~- K
2 b4 ^3 X6 d' d3 l) `DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:9 b' t& X' ~! l) Z9 }) n3 N
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
& O+ @. T2 K. I! Qof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.

; b# E/ R9 ^& C# Q$ L2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
$ T( j! {8 V: X6 wprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.7 s( a. E8 d* H/ S

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ' n' n1 e. f0 U% u7 {: m! A
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
, e7 Y E m) N7 V0 ]failures to the Operations Manager.

and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
( u7 ]/ p _4 q1 n8 B6 z) @1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
! S; _1 b4 K9 L K Q) e2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ! P& }7 s: }5 z: Q
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
