Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

4 G$ b( Q0 Q" C' wBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and z0 {2 G( d# x; t+ U1 E2 l
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
; Z3 H7 Z7 v( mprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.* y3 G. y- ?: {* q/ Z4 M% f7 o
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the3 d- b$ Z) `* A: a1 U
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.9 |5 {; r/ F# K6 Y m
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for* O) `6 j8 ]4 {8 i
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
5 b( s& c2 j8 v" w$ t/ }recyclables.1 Q) U% E* _- M" k# q$ i) a
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be b4 } i) ]% U0 [. C+ n( M
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening./ W; {- Y. c% h8 [8 D
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
: c1 d0 C+ G; n! a3 t- l" Xthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
# _7 |) B+ Y4 Y( @8 Z- j8 chours are part of this crew’s duties.! Y n: y" G: ~" }) y, m
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the8 M" }0 m) b8 M1 X j
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
0 R. `* Y) B! Z& N3 bprograms to visitors to the festival.
9 k. c+ A2 ~* v0 @. d y1 lKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
: ^. E$ t7 |# Z- E2 b* Jeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
2 I3 [ q7 a& G. D- T nOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
! |( F& g2 v9 [% Q$ revents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the/ J( M7 e( {7 U, c' u' }/ @
festival.
9 s0 q. i5 Z* D. BSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is; I8 l3 U+ m( x# b
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
~( K* w# @0 D2 n, eare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
% U: Z8 \7 w) s& CStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training5 m' s: j% N0 ^* W! K* b: Q
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.5 ?8 ~8 N; [4 D; B" w" i
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be9 B+ Z( Q& s% j2 r: ~1 q6 p
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as" B3 P, L$ A0 z- @6 [: q* }' U
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
q0 e! r2 m& H; X8 q$ D F7 j% {staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
