followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to
award

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

: B3 }' s8 V# |instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
, R4 l1 g, l9 b9 j0 H4 |' S3 dCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
4 e; X4 v( S9 g5 h7 l5 gAchievements
  P- I6 l- q4 [! d9 n- F. c! T0 win Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
7 }, S% K1 P/ X; KCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

! P- J# g  N/ w! e6 z/ y% zperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
! v0 L& t* T+ j- F6 N7 U- R/ P+ lcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
