请教如何自己建车库

刚买了房子,可是没有车库, 不知哪位曾经自己建过车库,或有这方面经验的, 诚心请教.先谢谢了!

应该先申请licence吧。然后找个builder,这东西自己指定弄不了。最好请教一下子你的经纪人。

buy a kit from homedepot. If you are building a two-car garage. You need at least two men  to do the frame,  take about 2 days if work full time. You need 2 weeks (parttime) to finish window, shingle, siding and paint.

1.Concrete  Foundation:
- z) x' H9 O/ Q4 N! L* y0 T1 k- Xa.land Flating: Need roller and pressor and get earth compaction index to civil technical requirement
1 U' T' O% v; N1 J( }b.Footings: need about 16"x8"footing reinforced with 3-15M steel Rebar continuously and 15M transverse rebar at 12" spacing
c. Concrete wall: about 8" wide by 36" heigh reinfored with 15M vertical rebar at 12" spacing and 3-15M horizontal rebar
d. Slab: about 5"-6" slab reinforced with 10M rebar at 12" spacing each way
2 O$ @) h  \0 m) r  he. order concrete mix from Lafarge or Inland concrete ready mix
f.pour concrete first footing, wall and last slab.

. d* J& \! G' g) x4 GAfter 3days later (better 7days) you can start framing with wood and dry wall, and insulatin materials

% z* _, I+ C9 pAll of them you need have roughly design and sketch. Estimate materials.

Wood framing you either go to home depot or trust fabricateor company order the size

For side framing you need 9' heigh spacing at 3'-5'.
For dry wall you order compacted  wood compound as your size
/ k+ f  Z+ U% h4 }2 b7 n0 b% uFor truss you have to order truss from truss fabricating company

Then you can naill compacted wood compound(1.5" to 2") to the wall framing, and to the roof (1")

Off course you need layout your electrical wire.

所有的licence都去 edmonton.ca 查找。  进去输入关键词也许可以找到。

今天去TOTEM看PACKAGE才知道TOTEM已经被RONA收购了，TOTEM和HOMEDEPOT的PACKAGE价格都要7000多，不知他们何时会有DISCOUNT，我要9月份搬家。谢谢回复。
