The University of Alberta Students´ Union has been contracted by the

targeting the issue of violence on Whyte Avenue. As a Brand
0 g, z& s, a: i9 ^Ambassador, you will be part of a 5-person promotions team that will ( i7 c9 @/ }1 r/ N0 `: b; ~
communicate our campaign messaging and distribute branded giveaways 9 R: z6 A7 q1 F7 h1 j
to patrons in and around nightclubs on Whyte Avenue*. For this part- ) W1 ^( h+ ^" f' I7 D3 T
time, temporary position we are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* t- Q! L3 k* B6 G# hnot a Fighter" campaign in and around bars and nightclubs on Whyte # t5 _, Q% Y, K9 @9 n- n7 I5 s

9 @$ a# R5 U! v4 Y% s1 c8 R* u2) Approach patrons in and around bars and nightclubs on
( s' I: \0 K( eWhyte Avenue* to discuss the issue of violence.

+ h2 F# O7 s% w3) Communicate campaign messaging to patrons regarding
, p) y' \- F3 t2 L4 M/ ?violence on Whyte Avenue*.

mediums for the campaign.

5) Conduct short onsite interviews with patrons when

1) Must be at least 18 years of age.

friendly, and sociable.

3) Must be comfortable in a nightclub environment.

4) Must have strong verbal communication skills.

Remuneration: $30.00 / hour

one-hour training session (at the rate of $15/hour) scheduled at a
/ S% Y8 O, a: f0 Mtime (probably June 27th 2007) during the week before their first shift.
