JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
Operations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
fulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
4 @" [( s3 p9 U/ H0 }% ~effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

- z, Y3 m+ Q8 P: f1 X4 }" XDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail in the training of part time staff
7 m/ X- b% B0 F% }7 m7 p9 E
2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements

; i- P" f: V% z* U5 b1 U, F' C. L3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured
. b7 s+ Q% F" N' e
2 o8 m3 s4 J( j! O4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
- W7 V6 |( R8 tvarious shifts as per store hours

5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
, D* Y7 Q2 u4 w3 f! xorders for external custom order clients
  ~1 n3 ?: h% y; l1 ]
6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
' r+ J5 t, B0 c3 rcounts

/ S* A/ E% }) l9 U9 R3 C7)             Provide a high level of customer service

8 o+ k4 M( E3 [* z) `+ d) O6 S* Y8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
; I1 J. u+ Z+ f& J7 ~. V& _, PSUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
1 t% z& k% T6 f# T1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent
- X& e3 R* E) a9 k
( D3 I; C9 v5 o2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
4 s$ S5 N3 l. ~& y$ Y  ]' G. K
3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
% D6 r; L& u8 e' H; E, g# R/ k
3 {' ^7 g8 m8 @4 x4)             Strong organizational skills

5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
1 y* O# g0 s5 y9 J. P" `- W% w2 O& I$ sdetail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a

8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public
