Food Service Worker II - Food Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
5 E: O# @0 ]. S$ M) Z. @assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

/ d4 z9 e# g: h4 O; NDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
; n/ j" C  X9 c. A; C  Q" Hfood in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
  B* A" z3 {* h7 r$ C: y+ H* ^6 j$ k) oarea.

2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

* H# I! g8 s6 l9 B) Q3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
2 J% P2 b, D3 Yoperating hours.

  V* ]3 x" K  P1 H9 i5) Serve as cashier when required.
2 {0 ^% {8 D+ X& N' B5 u& M
6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

/ i" W' V9 B& W. U8 c' U! W  z0 BQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.

; Y, o2 F' `1 M" O( \7 l9 v/ C% D2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

; N, i1 E) B, p! j' p& @3) Cashier experience.
# `& z5 h+ ^3 U% \
7 c+ Q$ B( d( c4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
2 p0 \0 [9 Z8 |& _, A
" Q# g$ Q7 r; N5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
