Food Service Worker II - Food Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
4 C& R( T( B- ?. m" V5 y8 w) a. POperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
: a1 f" y& E( k; V2 Sassist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
5 |# W& h2 ?+ D" r( b( ofood in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
area.
; X; P: d# @& l) c9 K
# t* S  f" ]3 ]; v2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
' C3 U( f& Q$ j8 Y# aclients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.
& i; R. y/ _5 ~" S+ q" Y( a1 l
- d  F1 s! d* E1 v& |4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
3 O, ?' `. o2 nwork rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
7 @) P$ C1 e8 {operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
( s* U& ]$ I7 Z9 X# MOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS;
6 I7 p4 l& ?5 b  {3 _2 k* p; ?1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.
) u5 O3 @: M& Z9 @9 U% g, @0 W6 `3 ~2 S3 J
9 F' e* x. Q7 s( i" [- {* l. f2)              Some cooking/baking experience.
+ p1 X# \/ R7 `- T5 m( M& o' {. V7 T4 t
" u: x# |% G9 A( ]' y! p! k: u* J3) Cashier experience.

4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
