8 s9 @8 M) ~) [' T: p" ^# O  h' xJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
+ X! ^9 o- v' j' c$ k3 f6 [(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ D- I3 g- y# y( d5 }1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
* @( p4 ?) ^/ z- Z' O8 vand are University affiliated.

4 T+ q( J' ^2 v5 A5 `2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
# J/ |/ v8 X, H! a" h
" W' ?9 d3 ]% A( ]( m. L/ t* J% d3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
9 A- r7 i+ p9 zof garbage.
- o, o( {+ x0 c; X- z
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 O% Y; {# _; i! L% Pconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

. a2 I1 X: o- Y) I; w7 T; [- T9 A5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

! ^0 T: Y  \3 R: R' p- P5 h) e* s7 y6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
3 j8 z9 Y7 Z. ~; Z8 E5 l% F2 g1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
! n0 ]4 w) r' H" K) w1 g1 W3 Y, q, s9 o
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

; T* @& I3 z. s" d  G0 y3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
$ _* s: g2 U* ?7 r7 `2 T8 f( c2 F
4) Must be physically capable.

$ O: J; K) t* J  E& @5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
8 n* r, K" G! P/ Q' g5 e1 R7 Opublic.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
