JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
5 [7 ]+ ~7 {! L; _- d0 @/ A1 Gpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: U7 t* ^# y- J& t9 W# N1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
: o/ W2 R; `- k' `
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
+ w' f0 K( @8 g$ T
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
  _/ H( J! [$ c- T
) A) I3 j% C8 A- N4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

% Y% D+ J2 G2 q. K) t1 [5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

$ F  i4 G4 D: ~9 Z- o+ Z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3 w7 _+ n% @. J# o( D  N% ~2 q# _5 B2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
- b4 l0 r3 p0 Ccalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

+ K' ~, ~1 E8 u% w3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
