5 [8 l- o, q$ r& c1 R q+ P% ^0 q: ^1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
1 S2 v3 `7 `1 }; g% [$ B2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
( Y7 f9 p( V; N- f7 N6 N( L3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. 5 D0 I0 ^- A9 r" Z Y
& n, p+ G' y( O( _$ `2 XPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:' n1 \' z8 W) m0 u
) g& A Z7 K/ G+ a! r+ I
1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
- e3 e( y- m" g& G- G5 R; O2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
7 {8 H0 E. C- l2 n8 Z$ G3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
4 W8 }# o. I3 @7 q& `3 q4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.6 N/ M0 Z2 r: Y) Q7 |; N6 N
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. + l- b9 [' R2 Y3 ~ ], L" E
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese. 5 H/ Y5 M7 ]+ @
7. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
