j2 e, _% C; A3 Q$ L9 A# S1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. 9 W! H0 B& N; H5 J k- B2 ~
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. : W& I: {) `% r6 i! p, [. U( N
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
+ Q7 o; \/ H% R5 |. n- G/ K% ~& F$ } @6 T! o3 ^+ U8 P* i* A0 \
1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
" w" A$ B* B! J c/ r& Y$ d2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
8 _2 i2 L |# Y# f9 }1 m# K3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
' O, X6 U# I# T. R4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.

6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
