ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter

T) y. s8 _2 I1 ]6 sThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

+ r9 N/ w# @, h2 a5 w8 ]. GEducation Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
