procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

8 e* b* H: ~5 w$ Q6 |DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 r# u/ B$ f) g" d1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
# C( V/ ^* X8 h0 [5 }, j* ubeverage items.

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the 2 c/ G, d) h, m; y* K0 t0 ]$ Z( f
bar and debit floats.5 \! }8 s7 S' i8 X0 {$ a
3 q2 x/ Y) {, \+ n- {0 R3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 5 L; {: ]' F' O( [! b
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 4 b, _6 I* B7 Y% X- D
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
1 w# {: @! ?% w$ U, Qseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

0 ]3 L t7 Z+ U' f4 z1 m5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in + g- \$ m9 k' C
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol ) \0 N g# i4 C. E6 _, P$ [5 d
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.9 E# D2 H% C$ I0 c9 v, i0 n5 k: z
! V, P: B% Y& T6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close , S/ b+ o3 w$ N/ _# c
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a 6 Y. m o, o' M( n! S* G$ w3 D
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

, X( F& ?) h; f" T; Q0 f* D* R7 d2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
; f2 F: L0 a( z* x5 Doperation.: p9 ~. @ ]- g- h! T' l/ C
! J: d* m8 b1 d' Z5 E2 D- P3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in % P# k V! y* i' b
accordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
