JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the / g: ~. t$ {* A* p% }" P* a
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
6 M/ }( H0 H) k+ C6 Q) u6 K S% _procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
, J" `- {: g* @! C, o5 c- Kbeverage items.3 D$ v8 A+ z6 O, e7 O7 f; D

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
, ~2 [1 ?: C( ]- Y/ Bbar and debit floats.

, F- D. ~! ~0 q! ^. l9 R3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of . `! a! s( P, z" F% |7 R

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular / b3 k% V: B" C( ~6 }
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and - F! b5 z, {- c4 S, R' U& c) T
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

7 W9 x" A9 r; ~0 B7 M5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
/ V6 v: J& A! X4 p0 Wstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
0 R. e' z2 e! P4 ~( uproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.1 D) x, K! [% x
* M% Y5 l; r, l) C6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
) w' J6 u( {2 m3 A, e4 N$ ]4 \3 \monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.6 A& H5 c- }: q# V2 |. Z, l

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume - X0 @* R7 @, q+ f
operation.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
- g7 j( i4 q5 M7 K$ @accordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
