JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage 1 {1 v+ [. O6 Z ~6 I
orders.

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
0 a! s: U Q+ {high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
- |# m$ k6 K2 e8 k }- }& t* [accordance with Students' Union policies.3 L- n5 P i( k) z/ m5 Z
1 L% Y6 }- q: F3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the : v* H! }, P) s! ?8 k s
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
7 [2 }( a- J# v' k! e& `: a/ ^5 _including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal
; q& ^2 a$ l+ A3 y7 Z1 kand ensuring floor surface cleanliness. H6 }" V0 R0 S! [3 q9 ~1 q
' V$ Z N: t- h3 ?8 |* f5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate $ T, m- a% U0 W) M8 m
action when necessary in accordance with established Server + l* V N, R! D& [: k) B+ F
intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.
0 W/ d3 R& @! Y* L6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health ' `1 V& J7 H i
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

$ U/ \ ]) \7 f$ T4 v h; I1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based S5 O/ y. p& t! c; q" P3 q
operation., V& M* c! u' R" n: }

3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union 6 E9 V6 f* a6 z- m& j
policy.

5) Ability to deal with staff, students and the general public in a
