Bartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for
$ u+ m- V7 ^5 s0 gcarrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of ! {5 }5 L0 `5 [2 `
customer service and room cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;- Q1 M! [9 K8 A
1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage : _( A- ~' v' U& q, d* a. s
orders.

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a $ j- H' w1 N- n( i' C) L
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in

3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
: L" H ]5 C3 N1 V, l" rtotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.& _1 a+ U) m R; [3 U& G" f

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness, ( k0 ^5 O J: K& y% a
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal
9 y2 s0 R- s/ B* p/ x, u4 ~and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate 1 q( i$ M1 Q( D1 ]' c* C( E" ]3 u7 r
action when necessary in accordance with established Server ! j" F% N- O. E, k: \# }# j
intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.; d& k L9 Y" c( @
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health
- x+ U) J% H6 D# F) }" rAuthority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

7) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* A" V7 C; F- `0 ^. S1 ~2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based & L* B. ?, l$ n# H* J
operation.- {; x1 t3 y1 P+ R9 ~( ]
+ u, U1 l7 H! U0 [3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union

! z& f) J, Z$ |4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge 3 b% i, m2 g' G g9 f

professional, friendly and diplomatic manner.
