Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

" n. ]9 y% `. M, LDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
! c; g: @& n# x2 w2 oCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus i9 A6 Q" Y% z( U; E
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,% I8 l. }! q4 i* K/ V1 Z# F
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for/ | w4 x/ ^, Q3 l* A* {3 f: i
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and, U% t# l/ T+ J
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during E6 @- |+ e. g( z
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
/ x2 ~) g: z* V8 Z+ K( V: @) hassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
: T( W& f1 p f( K$ B1 Z; {venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
; I: x. j# m \! |; Goutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city f# w0 I7 L8 A
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night. f; b' P2 h6 b7 V9 c! D
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or" O: c) a- H+ t* @; k* w2 I, m
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in( [; Q9 P3 [! U% M: p+ r
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
. W3 |( U0 d+ e3 V( k8 Nfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,9 _( F% H7 `7 C0 E+ @, M4 O
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake" m" X- ]! u# o) L2 D9 Z7 O- |1 _
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those% o8 y; ]$ Q! K, r' t
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
# f: m( v1 L$ |6 i' Q5 t# a! l- S9 [; O% Yskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
