- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at: @% B" x, n+ }2 a4 [* m1 p- O
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
8 @2 t/ r! P R8 E4 Z: gvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
; I+ L+ {3 J. N4 Retc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for2 L1 Q( O/ h0 k% E5 F: E
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
0 F- W1 `9 S: ~) `their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
( O8 y0 R# n% B, f5 X# \; ~% [their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,4 O( r. g7 g0 m' x( O
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking4 Q. H6 Y1 o, ~) h3 F
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
1 U9 F* @0 g. ^outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
& [, A) h7 f/ f/ Aexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night3 H R- j2 a5 G- T
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
3 Z$ `( W* D8 s$ C& s! Sfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents! X; U' [8 o& U
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint- ^; m$ }5 ?- M3 I/ W# D* z2 m7 P
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc. 8 b$ ^5 f" y/ P: {

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
3 d5 V) K8 E+ L/ ^Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
5 @/ M5 R) L, \0 D: f9 [) x+ [fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
: v \: \: r9 f8 q, j3 h9 Gdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake0 |$ v7 P3 u/ @6 ?- \2 b( ?2 x6 s
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
( l3 m5 ]. y- [* Q/ g2 J- H+ K) zof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management* G/ s# B% y9 V! W, X/ n7 m( a$ p+ J
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
4 ]5 y3 L+ J' V- _& q- l RExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
