Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
2 n! {7 ]- p8 ]) o1 |, D+ qpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

) Q6 {% {; ?7 Q( MHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
/ z: {( @  D  N" z* w- _' ?# d- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
  z+ \8 i- O  N+ }" ethe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

( @5 _0 V8 @( R& U8 B, S( N; zDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
$ y  u0 R5 w, Vvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
4 z5 p! {. x4 p7 ], L* letc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
) E$ q9 X! s# H0 o% c5 Eparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
9 C; W, n% K2 I; }their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
8 C  o1 P, _. {9 z9 }3 xvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
: K$ L- Q# V3 ]# ~. toutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
( L4 E6 U$ i" }: d6 e% H; kexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
! j* g8 g& G6 y9 i9 D) J2 Kfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
) K' B- S9 \  C! F% `/ p( T1 y( k$ Xsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
5 @4 `0 g6 T6 c- qCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
6 W2 h& R2 S6 C1 G, W. ?fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
8 w' {9 a" }/ t2 J( B/ j% ^6 va variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
4 s+ A+ I+ `+ f3 {  U  MExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
