recruiting for the position of Laboratory Technician Assistant - Job No.

2 ]6 E" w  W5 a  O$ SSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

: O- }/ _3 P- w" Y( NDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
$ ?9 n1 Q# f+ l% P3 ?: n, Qtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
8 R6 E) q  r2 C1 d" ?2 R7 c4 Y0 ^include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
) C8 {! A# s6 f8 X+ B' Acompounds by chromatography.

$ U1 D$ U+ L7 H+ EQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
