) O( h2 t! |1 E1 n; `Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
. y* _) ?: }$ i. Wtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
9 v+ T; M( j9 H. Z; w6 h! l+ ~$ ~for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
* x7 u1 U6 g3 `; F& Z# K4 l) \include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

* a$ b) ]' Y: {$ c# H/ E9 f( mQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
) Y5 U! y0 J2 r' W9 \8 I8 VChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
& N! K7 v4 [' ^of a team essential.
. \/ R$ b1 t* w" cThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
