The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting., _; p' z' E5 u8 W; z

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials% }; P7 C& ^; c' Y0 q" W
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials0 d6 y* O7 b1 j4 N8 m2 d: y5 G
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
* ?) B. r- u+ v+ z& z/ V, eMust be able to work safely at all times
# b* U- k, ]9 WBe able to effectively perform tasks independently

High school diploma (Or GED), J/ Y z3 _' Q

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization7 t/ @! ^' B4 M
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
