CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

4 \  L  J0 I# P· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
9 n" w5 G  ~" R+ {( z. j6 ^6 f) [
, P+ z# _7 O& r4 E/ A1 s  c$ i* `· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

4 m! p- T. p4 d+ t; @· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

- z2 V1 @1 k% }/ q# B+ G/ U7 }· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
) M; T9 L( Y' K% V9 `6 bQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
  {; m% s' x% d+ E% n, X
6 m6 f% p5 n' U8 }! C7 ^· Valid Class 1 license

: A1 }8 {; ^1 K6 E· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

1 x) e* _: [" ~7 y' E· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

- G$ K4 q4 K- ?; G& Y8 [· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
