CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

* e) D+ q3 H, E3 N( L0 W$ m* Q
! ~7 \. x4 ?" R4 f· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
; K# w) d3 O8 H7 k, y1 x
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

7 _) I* Z# T6 M· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
! s7 O% H+ ]4 s- g/ Q: ~  H8 O0 s
3 ?4 e0 L4 z3 Q% T* W* Q· Operate manual and automatic shifts

* ]7 \- F  Q3 h3 q+ @3 ?! [8 ]· Secure loads safely
$ e9 W0 j# r7 i1 a* V8 X$ S  q
! h8 f+ @0 l/ L· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
* {3 a+ C/ R9 t# Q4 K1 ]Qualifications and Training Requirements

+ a4 z  O6 v8 ]- U8 \3 c% E1 \· Minimum 3 years experience
- s& C, S  V2 t* K4 Q; C1 ^! ?" _" ]
; o' ~2 w! c+ d· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

/ w9 p* ^, G; \  A· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

6 p0 D4 n* }5 M1 I' W- E· Excellent organizational and time management skills

8 c) ^0 O& @. y· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
% u4 N& y8 u/ _, s8 n5 q. M
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
