CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

; x$ E5 c0 L6 I) G4 A- Y: U· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
$ `" q* e1 L3 Y* g% m: Y
# p: b6 f# f% r) A& ]5 U· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

, I) b8 E& ?: M6 v  I· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

9 A, `9 ?. k8 u  `# Q! s7 w+ _· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

* F9 E) Z3 A" H6 V· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
; Y6 |( [  V9 M7 `Qualifications and Training Requirements

! Q) O, X' K* z9 F/ l; ?# c· Minimum 3 years experience
5 O) e( Z$ m( B
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
( v7 Y" Q! S3 S
· Load securement certification

( C- [  w9 {# X8 H; w· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

9 N: N6 G9 B" F* U+ X; ?7 y( k· Excellent organizational and time management skills

- v$ x: X5 g2 O$ W* \5 Y+ ~. h. {· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

; K& Q; `, q8 T; @- Y· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
