CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
- o! d5 m, y9 M& a( T; @# w9 V
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
8 q; g; X2 k; X: V; D; N6 N' y2 a: W
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

7 [3 G' O+ \! x· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
: Q3 r2 q4 b$ d, ]3 V
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
& }5 N  p( G) F
; w' _, Q$ y' s· Minimum 3 years experience

# _  g. D7 Z& ~% M! g· Valid Class 1 license

7 g0 a7 c4 E1 \- N: ]: T· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

) n0 {- s: g; u* Q4 [· Load securement certification

& h: L- {. N) \· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

# X( ^8 ^2 @: s* K· Excellent organizational and time management skills

  s7 |9 W0 _8 l& r· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

$ ~/ [! o6 q& U4 [· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
