CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

8 L( y4 L3 _- p' i( F6 e5 n· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
& H" S- \- c/ N- x
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
" L0 F5 Q# i! {4 r$ ^+ R5 N
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
, b% l+ D( _- ]2 m; G
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
( T2 I7 M& M4 z$ u3 O
) ~5 {7 E6 {( t9 y8 Y· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
- R5 q9 g& K+ l) ^! g+ P# z
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

; x( Q: ]; h1 R- e5 V- s· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

5 N* E' K4 _  J: t; \- }7 ~$ r" ]· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

4 v' R- ^# ~/ S# M# L. i' q% |6 w4 S· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

) c3 B9 M/ n! X· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

/ S% I: a$ l% {* N( {8 N· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

8 e7 v: n8 c! e. W. }' B· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

3 Q7 P9 i+ J- @. |5 ~0 X· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
