MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
  Y1 a  C- ]$ C" O( W6 Z5 H/ x1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
  J8 j0 D2 Q+ {3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
. y9 w! O+ \/ v) J4. Calibration of Equipment
8 d2 M+ K$ n# g# u1 g. l8 W9 S. L- d0 b5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
0 B# k# b, v( q7 [0 A6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
- [0 N$ e9 Y) `+ }- S7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
0 ~0 U/ x. T$ z" m( {+ f4 U1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
  q. z' ?0 b! u& r9 f3 y3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
