没有工作的话很难给签吧？

B1: Visitor for Business
DS-156 (application form).
Valid Passport (at least 6 months).
Proof of legal status in Canada: original or certified copy.
One passport-size photo.
Older passports containing previous visas.
Documents substantiating previous legal status in U.S.
US$100 non-refundable application fee.
Reciprocity fee (if applicable).
Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses while in U. S.
Proof of ties/residence in a country outside U.S. which they have no intention of abandoning.
Evidence which shows purpose of trip.

B2: Visitor for Pleasure
DS-156 (application form).
Valid Passport (at least 6 months).
Proof of legal status in Canada: original or certified copy.
One passport-size photo.
Older passports containing previous visas.
Documents substantiating previous legal status in U.S.
US$100 non-refundable application fee.
Reciprocity fee (if applicable).

Visa Services

Visa applications are accepted by appointment only
Appointments for all visa classifications can be made within one business day for permanent and temporary residents of our Consular District; and within one to two weeks for visitors to Canada, including those booking appointments from the United States. Please note that the length of time to obtain an appointment can fluctuate depending on appointment availability.
Appointments can be made at the Visa Appointment Reservation System web site or by calling (900) 451-2778 (in Canada) or (900) 443-3131 (in the U.S.A.) or (888) 840-0032 (for calls by credit card).
ALL applicants 14 and older MUST apply in person at which time, in addition to an interview, the consular officer will capture digital fingerprints of each applicant.
The Consulate strives to return issued non-immigrant visas to applicants at 3:00PM the day of the interview, however, certain applications may require more lengthy processing.

有稳定的工作（半年以上）可以证明：
有足够的经济能力支持在美国的开销
不会在美国“黑”掉
