CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

; X( ^% u( b9 \8 q) ~Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
2 y$ U! g8 @" \. h! O- x•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
4 _6 @/ ?' C) e, K. j•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
! T. s1 t8 A6 Z, g# ~•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
( Z* p! h* V6 P$ t2 A1 v  q•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
* O) V! S5 E7 m•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
