This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

7 C, D. ]5 n6 o, w( z; qThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
+ }& m' {4 i* M" j-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
' x0 p& _" ?& u7 C. C( z6 M1 s; K- Sound research skills
$ P! ^* b% s; L* l, B- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5 y' b" w( I0 _; z- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
0 L. r& O1 N: T4 n3 G! f# d: \- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
; A, |% ~  Q  _5 n4 y* U- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
