This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

. g- B' }; w' t: R8 GThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:

% W1 g8 q5 o4 M- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
, z! V3 a5 E6 _# J9 p- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
$ k1 l( ~- w0 {5 K& @& b7 M( N- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
4 L" A* O  E+ c# I- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
+ L/ l9 r& A  y4 |9 i/ u- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
