, I& C' W5 |, d- L) V3 IThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
5 L2 L2 j; i; b8 Y* u' E-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
, O+ E6 B' r! \/ f$ _0 N  a-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

. `4 F! \/ ^6 wRequirements:
- Sound research skills
& \8 W0 N2 j# A6 r* a- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
; L3 z5 I6 a, p0 Z0 Q" l3 Z% g- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
9 `  F! z) x! G- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
, J; R, J% L/ h. s9 I& g- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
