Essential Responsibilities:
8 x& c- F* N; g/ X: T" S- N 8 }+ X* r) T# _- q# c/ d4 _
PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.- v: N& Z" Q4 W( H/ o8 m3 q
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
( h$ x8 a: l$ _% IRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
2 Q. b# O0 G8 y1 B/ Y- PCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.

Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.+ t. `/ u Q5 [. E
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
5 \: k+ A8 c e/ b! dLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed. E6 O: T0 u7 q
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences9 ^, M3 Z# b; ~
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
+ f; D: h+ v2 }% C" I( TWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed$ D8 O" _3 J0 x% C# |5 ?- F
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
) Y6 t$ \, b3 `6 o# ^Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
) M& Z) ?- t ` g8 n: i- iParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed4 L9 F0 Y1 s, C, I! K7 p
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing. P% g) l% m$ U- |: P
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure9 @# V4 }! D$ a& J7 w/ v1 u* _
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.- R, {" ~, o! }# A1 S5 w- w7 \

Qualifications/Requirements:

4 _9 J' d% ^3 ZBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College2 k* D, I6 l" y
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
3 o0 V. D: B# }, B* Y7 ?Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)9 A( i& w* b7 W5 j0 Y
Experience interpreting process control documents.7 ~5 j2 Q6 C& c' N( V$ X: j- ]
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
' H+ z' E' |- V& K# [! ?Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards6 Z" ]! J0 ]9 @: U
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
8 S6 D2 b4 ~& h# c, ?. RMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.); Q1 A8 \/ [6 f( ]' D
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment) }) t! g; q: w+ M' |3 d' l r) H
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
