As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:2 G S$ z) A; o6 E" |
C" p. u7 S( E j& z- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ' n* n/ N1 V* F
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 4 X4 R" c/ @; j g
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
6 g$ w2 H3 _: B. z6 g$ n3 }- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ! b7 `. L6 B+ Z n
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
9 N- ^# `3 o% l7 C' c- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements

- Strong leadership skills
, F- E" T, v5 q+ i2 X- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ) w; ^' n- B- c# \% t5 C
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 4 Q, B; m( ~5 A! e! s8 I
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ! W, p, d' o# G ~* t9 Y' \
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques., { @/ C- }4 v+ x- \6 W" R
