As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
k; g' N- A. O' N0 M! L
. z- h* y. U- \( o1 a1 Z- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 2 ?0 A4 D. m/ P2 ^+ T
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 7 V( ]4 o0 c- z6 I& D( p3 e- Z4 u5 c
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. " ^6 t, |/ y8 v1 Z5 _* [* e
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
! r/ c' s/ r0 M* o- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.

- Strong leadership skills
' G% B9 _9 A' i* i0 `- A minimum of grade 12 diploma . z' z: p: e# x! b8 J% E, V, S8 n6 e s
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills + ^" [3 p, @& U
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
3 C- @5 M9 Y- |# c. S A% a) Q- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.7 u0 L! h, @ m' @8 S8 P9 J E0 y
