' I) u# f, O& {1 c$ kAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

6 k* P  `" j& u4 ^2 ^/ ^& R; u- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
2 m* V7 ]& v* C- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
( \6 V& I% o8 U8 w1 a- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience
0 Q3 P4 N& q1 b3 f" u- Strong leadership skills
5 }; e; d  h+ d" c* E- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
8 C$ A9 O% O3 b8 Y- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
2 j4 s8 A/ p. J4 ?# M  Q0 }4 x- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
