G# O8 n% q- b4 t0 u& ZThe Government of Alberta introduced the special Support Our Troops licence plate in 2014. The Support Our Troops licence plate honours current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces.: l& z+ j/ E( n9 _! e2 I" p% w& v
: h& m6 {* i6 X* {* f% O8 mThe majority of the revenue from the sale of this plate will go towards the Support Our Troops Program managed by the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.# i6 \: `6 `; F0 v' o

The design features artwork in honour of the first 4 Alberta-based Canadian soldiers whose lives were lost in Afghanistan in April 2002.& i+ y3 r2 J( ?3 \7 i* o, v+ g

You cannot choose the letters and numbers on the Support Our Troops plate. They are issued in sequential order and mailed directly from the manufacturer.
