SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

0 k6 N& Q- V/ Z) x; X3 k8 rRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
* _* W$ c. O$ Q. S5 N& J8 m( l  y' N   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
8 T9 ~& Z5 m% K   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
" W  r8 r& ]# H) E' O( K   o Linux based operating systems
9 \. W# U1 j1 m7 z, H9 {9 Y  N. o   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
" m: E- V, e& N- a3 h' NSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
% I; e% T$ a% ]; G• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
( t: M* R8 p! ?- J• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
) K9 W4 f* x4 _3 o& K; b0 E/ S( M• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
% a8 T; I( e( `2 }1 D/ u   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
  Q6 T4 e5 L/ P, [, b+ ?   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
5 V6 _& r7 E: g. V- O  C   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
/ \( o& j' r  ^3 b6 K! X   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
! {4 z9 w* ^5 j# ~' ~% t/ x• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
+ M2 F' C; g/ R! _5 X• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
, @, }( U) O" f# j• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
