DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

+ F& a0 p  S3 ^& N8 ]• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
& f& A3 m+ o# W   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
, D# k" H9 l4 y$ d& U# x6 t& U1 W   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
/ A9 l! U* U7 m   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
5 w( }" U: a$ E, z# f" d   o Microsoft Operations Manager
+ B' m! n8 V5 {( |4 T   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
: h7 D4 x8 O  L4 }4 U; l• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
: l# E) `1 W3 D8 q$ O* Q, }3 v• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
4 M8 }, [/ o, _• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
) P- T' t1 j, ?/ ^( {SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
6 H/ @+ r+ {1 y, x$ @% B• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

2 b) Q; N' ?- E( WSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
$ c, f& ]. n$ c9 R* S( c• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
# h5 ~/ t) e5 K( Q0 B: Z" `• Excellent written and verbal skills
: T4 f+ ]* S  J8 |; o1 \, w! T, q• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
9 t& F3 P: n; e& Y2 R0 a2 g• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
5 d! q& q, Y/ ?& G5 y. U   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
# T/ c7 N% O2 r- m4 V- X9 O   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
5 b+ F8 j- B+ ^- A• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
/ g" F+ x) ], I: e: u• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
7 j7 I: H4 K# _+ Y3 o/ n& k% u• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
' m1 N) G9 w5 X* E+ s. `. u• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
7 ^& w. b. P5 p6 s8 d; Q* p• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
3 z+ T1 Z( ^8 U0 O( }• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
