DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

+ @) r6 q5 A; D+ A" F& |3 @/ J• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
! _- a+ A6 T: W$ k+ @4 H   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
1 A. }& k3 N+ y   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
/ }7 p/ j7 ~& t   o Microsoft Operations Manager
$ S  n3 a8 o- s. X* Z6 U6 U   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
% g" {) N" P1 D( N" _   o Linux based operating systems
2 v0 D* p+ S" i; V   o Sun Solaris operating systems
9 ^! a5 m* U9 r% `   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
( v, t' Y1 r$ F& u• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
  y: O3 Z  W5 ~& R• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
8 O4 E) j' Q5 Q8 l4 n• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
5 Q' s0 U) o5 f% }" C: wplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
& f9 |* ^0 N( ^  `• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
' M' _+ `4 Y: P) A8 k• Ability to work in a team environment
' Y. m/ ~9 j) `3 X* ?1 m• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
5 ]# C# T$ ?; s0 L• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
6 h; K( \4 W' A  U1 Q0 W• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
% l1 O/ Q3 ~2 L   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
% _- [4 g/ b' V- Q1 M2 z6 E• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
6 ~: H6 ^( H% e- s• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
  J* v! J7 d7 r• Have 4+ years of network design experience
; C' R) \# |+ L  }+ s" b• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
