Too many choices. depends on your risk tolerance and duration of investment " U9 r8 d. Q: }3 V# G3 i2 u4 d, N1 ]8 Q6 y
If you are happy with 2-4%, I suggest standard GIC from any bank. Manulife advantage account is offering 3.75% per year for very short term (10 days etc.) * U. C) k# g7 b" |( _: B' x' ~0 }0 \ Q `! q5 X6 T4 \6 Z* D1 K$ X% {- C. @/ G
For longer term with inestment protection, I would suggest Seg fund where it guarantees up to 100% of your investment on 15years or longer term. The guarantee moves up accordingly to the daily market high for few years and you can sell at anytime with no obligation.- B# q* ^7 E6 D' ~" k! @

Or you can invest into Income funds that generates fixed income (slightly higher than GIC) or equities as accordingly to your risk. High risk, high return. ! W* S6 m' }8 i: o) P; ]9 E% b6 V' @+ `
