If you are happy with 2-4%, I suggest standard GIC from any bank. Manulife advantage account is offering 3.75% per year for very short term (10 days etc.)4 @4 j2 i/ E6 P0 y: q

For longer term with inestment protection, I would suggest Seg fund where it guarantees up to 100% of your investment on 15years or longer term. The guarantee moves up accordingly to the daily market high for few years and you can sell at anytime with no obligation. % h) G# k" n$ u( t6 ~8 K* N5 W I$ E0 G* x
Or you can invest into Income funds that generates fixed income (slightly higher than GIC) or equities as accordingly to your risk. High risk, high return.9 D% m3 m; ]1 M# H) y
