I'd like to invite people to join our new Community Dialogue project.
5 r: }, ?, K5 `4 @. a" l2 SIn phase 1 we have a couple of extra spots available for Community+ }8 u: O2 ^0 [7 h u q9 O' J
Engagement Training.
/ n; R6 d6 F4 s0 `6 `1 I8 q: K# a1 y% G' h+ c# o. Z
We can accept a few people to join us this Friday (3~6 p.m.)and Saturday,
: G# ?) b# n# F" }" A" u(9~3 p.m. ) to improve skills in building multicultural neighbourhood
% Y2 @, b' Q# fgroups. We're especially focused on developing groups that can work
* `8 F. o# k9 x! b) q+ B4 b* |! [8 rtogether across cultures to create community projects and Action for Healthy5 u8 A) f |3 w7 C) y: w% W
Communities can often support these projects with funding of up to $1,000.

Pacific, "Bougainville Sky" is the story of how music helped overcome years
; c* w! D6 z5 K+ D1 Q! e P. e+ O3 nof fear and distrust to rebuild peace in a war torn society. When bitter
3 C& ]) r3 s! C; ?: Tconflict on Bougainville Island ended in 1997, the combatants invited the% ^1 k6 e) o/ \5 L+ \
international community to send in a Peacekeeping force on one condition:
2 l# F. g. q3 Y+ X. wthey come unarmed. Amongst the Peacekeepers was young Australian songwriter5 t' q6 I/ t' `' M& ^/ S9 i6 J @9 o
Iain Campbell Smith, whose music and radio program became a legend on the
3 B2 W' [6 W6 L1 B# S% Y) ^5 aisland and contributed to the success of the world¹s first unarmed$ O/ U) x7 ]8 {9 B
international peacekeeping operation.

Afghanistan, the success story of the Bougainville peace process seems

% @+ E4 G; X/ e9 Cand music to strengthen an indigenous-run peace process < and it worked!
