Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
1 j/ Z* [" W% j2 M( y6 h0 t/ B•        Prepare financial statements
5 o- q2 ]0 I0 [) `•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
1 k. J/ u1 f3 O% Q•        Process payroll
•        File T4/T5 returns
+ L' a* M$ m* v9 {$ W& q; ^! ~4 L2 K•        Prepare personal tax returns
- U1 {1 Z1 t% G& a•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

) y) ?$ _* ?2 j+ NConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business
  o2 R4 T- j5 J  F8 U, T
这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
