Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

, H* N8 e5 a2 T: ]After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
6 p3 r9 W! `1 s7 L' c: W" e•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
8 u; z% o4 i  z' {•        Prepare financial statements
: a# z2 p0 l9 L•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
' A# |. o9 R" i4 l+ _( i, L•        Process payroll
7 R: p2 b: J$ j! |* V; F5 _•        File T4/T5 returns
8 h, y5 A5 Q6 H9 t•        Prepare personal tax returns
6 t& w% v, L% h/ `•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

6 k' A+ A& ?, ^8 W; }# j! sThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

2 j8 [3 x2 W' R1 F$ }6 \2 H8 FConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
