Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
( O- k7 q6 Z9 q) U- _+ E# j• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.) R1 J. [7 N% e( M
• Prepare CaseWare working paper files, I0 Q5 ^5 w) B) ]
• Prepare financial statements
* u1 O4 H0 ]1 A& N0 f, s/ Z• Prepare corporate tax returns
! g- y) w: e" N• File GST returns 4 Q# ~6 n, y& q4 |
• Process payroll

: o" m! y4 G& m0 p% F• Prepare personal tax returns ( w# k1 f; L0 ~0 H" [
• Communication with our clients and government agencies * e0 T9 Y8 P0 J( X- g

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. . ^6 I e$ ?) {( Z& h: W# F3 {
$ O( {" {- y7 G E6 NConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.( ?# H" c8 J* V' Z$ y1 Z
