Please rethink about Syrian resettlement!!! I do not want any of these immigrants/refugees brought into Canada in such a short period.

& T% F( W# v1 M9 Q4 HI am a new citizen. I understand the importance of immigrants to Canada. I also understand that most Syrian refugees are nice people. The only thing that I don't understand is that how you tell ISIS terrorists from 25,000 people in less than 6 weeks!! # o; H h q) E# V
6 w3 u/ c% {& KIn the campaign, you promised to protect Canadians' safety and right. Is this the way to commit your promise? I have a x year-old daughter who was born here. I will educate her to be a good Canadian and do contribution to Canada. But I don't want her to live in fear in the future. If Canada becomes unsafe, I will bring her to other country which will really protect their citizens. I believe that a lot of people have the same thought. Please remember: kids are the future of a country. + U, }1 s% m# q- ?+ M0 w9 V
) b/ d5 C: N! v: v! t9 bBefore I came to Canada, I thought Canada was as peaceful as heaven and people are happily living in the beautiful country. But I am shocked by these numbers: 4.8 million people in Canada live in poverty; 546,000 children across the country living in conditions of poverty: 3.3 million Canadian households are precariously housed; over 200,000 people in Canada experience homelessness each year.

I, as a Canadian, am ashamed of these numbers. So should you.

Please show some mercy to those who voted you! Please rethink about how you spend the tax money! Please don't let Canadians who voted for you down.
