EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning., M1 K$ w; @- v
9 r, C+ A" i) \& P# S n! X0 h5 JThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.

3 n9 x- y7 ?* U4 H( V u& sPolice evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
