Plant Payroll/AP

Your job responsibilities will include:
8 J6 g% s; {/ r, M) s•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
! y3 q. X0 n% j9 f3 d•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
& |+ W  a) M9 o9 m5 i5 R. ^4 Q•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
/ \+ {; ~' s  @" w•Perform AP Invoice matching
•Prepare month-end AP accrual

  n! a) x, b0 OThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
