Plant Payroll/AP

North West Edmonton

Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
+ I' X( G% R8 ^+ w•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
9 x- ?: [+ c3 }8 f•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
4 T( E; r& s+ s; F# E3 c. y•Perform AP Invoice matching
! R- Z9 ~( r1 G& X" M8 W: ]( M•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
