Your job responsibilities will include:
/ M/ H; D! P) L. b6 s* c•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
* _: P  g8 B$ u$ X•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
0 K% ^/ L- [8 i# G) x7 Y•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
7 Q5 c1 A5 e3 I/ d. y0 r•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
) t# \8 A) O0 A- s4 S•Perform AP Invoice matching

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
