* T& K- ~7 Q1 J5 ]: Q KBuilders started construction on 468 new single detached homes last month, a 34 per cent increase from August 2013.

“Right now we're running flat out, we’re building as much as we can,” said Rob Busby, construction manager for Landmark Homes.6 ^* M# \ V+ F7 H

The increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.9 s L B' Y w" r3 y. N
