Required immediately:
Accounting Technician.  Experience and posted secondary education required.

Duties include:

3 ~2 }) H; b) w1 {) n. x•        compute charges
•        knowledge of Simply Accounting software is required
5 S: h! I8 X0 P# y•        prepare invoices and reports
2 A* s' O4 h- N) |& H  L•        take telephone calls
2 Q6 L9 w& b+ w2 b3 b•        make up cheques
•        make bank deposits and reconcile records of bank transactions
: n6 V5 _# u& Y( p•        perform computer data entry and analysis functions
•        assist with or maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, ledgers and journals
/ C5 D9 O+ C- K•        assist with or perform payroll calculations
•        analyze and record business transactions and period end adjustments
3 ?& C1 A% ]9 T0 r! p5 d9 f•        prepare basic financial statements
: e8 K! h1 L! l0 f# f0 {$ v5 |•        compute and record depreciation for book and tax purposes
•        perform other clerical duties.
