买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

- G) R$ ~" r0 ]5 p, n. V1 ^( \You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
" q& P2 F1 @. N! f( E•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
$ @; D! d, A- u! m•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).  p; [: f& f& J6 |3 Q
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

( w# n' _$ h% \A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.; J% ]/ ], _  a! S

& `8 L: W% c0 d: SThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.' q2 H1 i- j4 L1 B  d
