4 {8 ^( n; i$ t0 g• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

3 h$ j7 s* L. s1 _" F( Z- S• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

- Q0 h% `- e5 E. R5 n6 M( J' H• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

* a: J- X+ L9 q( ~5 s+ Q1 s$ V2 N& D• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

* u/ x$ u' y  K. A( U$ P  @• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

' U* J$ R3 D9 X# e' z• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

% f* J8 a2 K6 d0 F- q• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

5 j$ X, s6 M9 p' s; ^' m• Standby, overtime and shift work is required.

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

" d3 `" Q$ b  U-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
