If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

( q1 z! n3 m" f, K+ nof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
/ z( W A1 O% J) j7 [look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth % l. I3 j9 D; B$ m" ]

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
7 i: p3 w/ y; }- }" m* f* Factivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 7 e3 V, `* K( t8 a
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday & d% N5 m$ l; b* n' n$ N
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in & M' I. T& t3 h5 i+ d) H

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
! A( f/ r7 {4 M5 s' b3 qSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, " o2 R# z( u* ~
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

2 e6 @* b/ }5 d' {* o$ d4 a" IBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
; s/ Z" e' q6 @- l, rto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
" m, [& i+ j0 A. n6 J; [, jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
# [+ l: g+ j% l* [0 \3 T# `8 lONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ ?7 Q% r/ r/ x8 ]4 x: ^# g( Pyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
3 R9 x# D% ?6 p( x" N" k' bof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ( R6 @/ q$ ]4 n: t
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ( E9 ^/ t9 N' ~ S
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and + K* ^3 b9 q8 c: X+ K/ z, ~
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ' r/ }) y y$ F4 h8 }
two days of Orientation).
