attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds + m! { N; O y% v! C6 F
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically + @. ^. k( N3 p+ a2 q
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
( t1 B" d$ |1 H9 hof directional information.) K6 A7 {9 ~" |) @) I; j& T: l, H

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
/ D3 U+ T# ?% ?5 c; yactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
/ W% [/ r4 f* ]- ~' fa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ! z- O9 V+ { c7 L
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
9 C6 F6 {1 o: `5 C; j: kHawrelak Park.

$ u) @1 q6 ~. t6 FYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
0 U1 w) y( w) USeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
6 s/ {, Y+ Q- }: s( y& P1 Cand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
3 K3 H# G* C3 n7 Jto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from - w+ S( U$ A1 s3 u
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 2 Z' G/ Y" Z3 S! p1 F
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) T3 u) p2 X: v4 z. j1 x1 yyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
% f$ [1 }+ x( A* nof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ( B$ D' M# ?( f7 Z2 e h. W
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 3 [5 I4 v0 \ S+ s ~
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
$ S9 a' ]4 M4 B/ c1 ebring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
! o" D8 l L4 d; O5 O7 w7 Ctwo days of Orientation). T+ v! G% A) ]3 v
