(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
$ B+ u6 U% t- X, p& ~ Dattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

be found south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of HUB.

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
6 q" F, M/ `( m: I3 r/ vactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
: W. W9 j9 z1 T: A( F3 y" d# Ja variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
8 X) ~/ o ^* H$ V! b+ f8 Fevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
! a% j# e$ h: C# _$ G x4 pHawrelak Park.

" h% D* H* g- ?4 [You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
3 {$ U! ~( |) J* r8 O$ k4 B1 wSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, $ O) x2 a5 Y+ ], y$ T/ S# S2 n4 ~
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.3 a! L! g9 [' Q: c2 {) K% S4 c* c
. R+ y, B& m* t1 l6 }. W6 gBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
8 l7 Z/ D3 {: O8 H; Eto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from # j& B4 o: e( \" Z1 {
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 5 Y1 V. s3 V# u) I+ y% O
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process % B- c! N& E! ] A( `3 \2 t' d7 F9 u
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
2 q$ @9 @# e; }1 nof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 1 `" y( ~- L, I3 R; ^1 e3 S
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
$ n- L& |7 ~% e6 B8 c" W- \Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and : w. t. m6 N3 Q& t2 B4 P, a8 R( \$ C
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
. p6 g0 n& u t2 Btwo days of Orientation).
