information that will make your transition to the University community

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth / ]0 P, _# U4 g5 \5 G9 J1 P

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening & [7 d% S$ I% w& l1 k( h2 I
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
3 Y2 o) I7 s$ {3 S, B! o' ea variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
8 u; U' r' h1 p+ [; ^( r) Q8 ?+ oevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ! ]# U, k# c+ H9 I# B

September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ) \8 O: ]) ]& v& N) G: \3 \
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you $ n! z$ K# J; H( Y* s# w
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
$ l6 a- E# [5 U6 L7 { `9 Ayour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
/ F) n* l- T; w, t0 Z2 bONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ; N; d4 u" T6 s* _
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece - m+ e7 k, W0 E9 T* W8 Z' Z
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
/ F, M* R& P, _Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 9 _4 D7 r; [ h" O: U
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 M! d2 a; b" ?0 U# q) ubring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the & L) J3 w- F, n0 d
two days of Orientation).
