Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:
5 Y: T: L' d+ X; q3 c8 h) m
    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
: M# K6 _; N/ k' m$ V# s* L    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
! H/ e: [& m* Y8 T9 R4 a    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
2 D- P2 J* x( o: s5 t    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

8 V8 r/ H, `; l7 m4 T9 W& Q% CThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    High School and or Post Secondary Education
& V, O# ~! L0 B4 X# X- r5 x    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
