To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.
& E; V" _, z, g
4 s5 w- F# p4 @Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
0 Q$ Q  K- k  E9 e$ V: [    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
( ^1 {; Q& w6 @) X, ~% v% J# |: Q& B    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
( g" D8 f' O! H' g2 v    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

( M& T; y1 |$ Y) e, C* N% f- d    High School and or Post Secondary Education
: ]$ L* L: v. P2 E% \7 h, K: F    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
: l& l/ r0 i5 ^5 {  ~" ~( S* K    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
. x& G6 R. T1 @3 X' _    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  l9 p& W7 L, Z7 V7 L    Strong analytical and organizational skills
. {0 J* f/ O# e" V' z    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
