Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

; s4 C* \- |8 V HKey Responsibilities:

: `& R6 U2 u2 w2 n, M• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

* W8 K: M; R3 q6 k% ^• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

% w' n ~# z" W1 r" ~• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

% k) |+ R J$ A% r• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

" U7 g, a5 O1 d( u) d& q• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.9 Q* J) G$ w" V9 n& [ b1 c

Job Qualifications
4 t( l# d# g$ o# g, m, Q• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

& O9 w# P9 R( U% o! y• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

) Q( q. @! D; H6 |) _• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
. G! r6 C9 d3 K. F0 M9 ^
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
; g# u0 H8 \& C1 \9 A
• Travel within the assigned region.
