- R- D/ J" O9 N, _6 B5 r•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ( @& Q2 @1 C% @* Q5 o l
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies1 w% Z$ `; @- f& H0 n8 {
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting8 H: h- C$ o7 w1 c, K) ?
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
; {( V' V6 W" f3 f•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential* G, D' R' `: k1 J. J

Qualifications:
- C! b2 M: D) r7 z•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;( U7 {/ p, d, e/ [1 v3 l- L( t) W
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;1 C6 b% j( E5 [4 o$ w7 K
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;0 B# x3 Y x9 v; O/ q
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
