Key Responsibilities are as follows:
. s) z: c8 H! E- A( _$ x" M6 W$ F•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
6 l( o/ z' b1 i•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
7 H7 L, P9 U1 y/ V% t, `•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting

•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:' b: r9 |. z# j5 t7 P
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;0 m2 _7 l8 e; P; @( g' A$ E
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
' ~ D* _- S4 E$ _ [3 ]" z! l) u•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ^# n8 s" O2 i" W Y& b
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 }' c: f: |6 s& A+ z, S! m
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.) |, m. E @3 }4 N! x' c9 ~- V/ |
