Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

Key Responsibilities are as follows:
- M, E1 h/ @* ]6 L5 o& o•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
% q$ j" B% F* j3 {" M•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

K* ^" u•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
' x% h, N2 z- ]•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.0 m' \# U; V( H1 S8 L- ]& @
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential
- n7 T& @0 ^& q2 ]) o" R0 B- j( C" F3 j# m4 Z  x/ \+ F
Qualifications:1 A" g! Y3 j# ^) ]* {( W& n( L0 B
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;7 q4 C$ L( Y! `- I/ F5 P% L& R
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;; {. U9 ~! [; \
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
6 [0 Y9 u0 Y5 J% \•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 S7 o7 _! @1 J% f% S0 S
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory." U( `. |! H0 b! v6 u
