Key Responsibilities are as follows:+ v1 O( `7 N0 |4 C3 h4 H; a
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
3 p0 C& W }* o•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

G•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting0 @' N& y, m& t$ B
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.+ v8 I1 ^% z# l0 U* O" j
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential/ |: U+ o4 q) p+ l
' r$ E: P( U1 P5 ]5 ?' \9 t6 l8 v; o; EQualifications:
0 j6 L3 D* v# }/ i•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;. u7 i n& s3 a2 F; f
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
7 N [: Q/ S' c( C•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;' G, ~5 n( E, F
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
: y0 S8 l) @% j# f1 Y- F•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
