6 ~* l% C3 J$ L2 I0 g7 RThis position reports directly to the District Program Manager. Z* p$ l, K0 H: a* R

Key Responsibilities are as follows:
; @1 o3 \9 }7 |/ r; I/ l•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
% v; P- Y6 A& D+ Z- U7 B•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies! R" _( N, g; L6 f' Z% V5 V* r
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
! c7 F  ?5 t) x0 h•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
! @6 Z! ?' M0 n) P•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential: p! c- U0 d" Y8 i

0 b- U3 [; e% d; `* B! V9 yQualifications:
3 k* X+ L* _: S$ b2 H& v; E7 l•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;7 [7 d& _  A1 ~, u  b# p" D3 k
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;* o7 P9 w) }: A' v; ]
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;' f' m# P0 z" ~# G" q
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
) J. g& a! c* |( N0 {" `7 E•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.: }2 k4 {  u0 C, Q
