. b, }# M" o( D0 p•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages/ U! A& V; B2 l, d' p8 _) W
•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
( k# ~" S0 P8 r9 i }: d•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
0 z1 z* v2 y& q% a•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work $ {3 A3 a9 @7 x# G# _4 v
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
4 K0 x; q$ x/ L; h) R4 ]•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships: J4 P0 K$ L5 l z9 j
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
, N( K) m0 Q! V* Y% `•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator6 `& l( y# G- i
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
