Job Responsibilities
* {( i7 W0 _/ v" h$ q' Y+ {•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.# r  V; u9 ?& G& `# H
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. % a! z1 O7 N2 n+ I9 G  Z0 J
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
. r: X5 r  b9 e! c- v3 ~8 z7 ~•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. / G! u: x6 k: e" u
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.) v% a( V! z% ^+ [! G& Z) \0 ~$ i3 h
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.5 A& V% t6 N( o% M/ x
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
( Z0 i( Q% s& @•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
: r) j+ f0 o" n' d•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 0 R7 V5 L: \5 G( D2 A1 Z  M
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
/ \; h8 I- L6 j  c1 t, Y+ r) _% e/ G•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
8 \  q/ `0 c, y( M, M) b•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
1 `: Z; d7 d( G) N3 |•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
: u& ^% L0 G5 n; J) ]•        Attend Cluster meetings. " b4 s3 k  c0 p5 r
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
6 S* v3 x9 v, u; m7 S•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ! v4 V+ n% d9 X/ w" ?
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies8 ]1 }' ?; J- L: X4 a
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center% j% }9 ~$ {; l: q, `6 G
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float / v! ]- r* m6 Q9 d( _& c: M
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager, q! m8 k7 @# P# E# ]

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property( a' |2 J0 y2 q" s
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;/ J% ]- p- E; x$ L1 `  U( S; E: K5 S
• Ability to lead and develop;2 w& t; f; I. R" w' R  s
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;% R. o$ h/ g; E3 f* y- ~
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;( m+ m, O7 |7 |( m0 w4 K
• Ability to work within deadlines;
0 A# S! A6 A/ F1 m• High level of creativity and innovation;- E; j3 k* G4 x4 _  s
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;0 p4 A' F. [& R$ i" {, Z! j) y, ?
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
