Job Details

0 e' k9 A2 ^+ a) ?" n$ g•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
+ S; x6 R7 b3 m2 {0 T. {& y•        Oversee hotel security requirements. ( h4 a3 W" w- P" |: o) R
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
5 n) ~: a! e& [% e$ G) j•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
& A0 L* G, t. M: L( Z; i& I•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
5 x; T) _6 X' `5 h5 u% a' r% ]/ P•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
5 `. }2 [( d/ t8 I& w" Z$ {•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.! ~7 I# i; ~9 N8 v7 f+ ~) q
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
, B! r. S0 W" v0 z; e•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
* M5 `8 w/ P) M! q•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
1 k2 L' ]8 R  T6 y4 V  y2 V•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
! S. M( w7 L$ T, c•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. + n9 ?: ^0 i7 a0 a5 V/ @, f% }
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware./ O$ C. N$ k# ~
•        Attend Cluster meetings. 6 N' h0 c2 O4 B; Q9 _. j
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
7 P) ~4 X9 t: M•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
4 l8 C- p* T0 W  K! l•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
8 ^8 C5 U6 ~/ Z- S3 c1 a" g9 {•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
) C$ x' H, Z0 w2 q( [•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 2 g' U# R0 \* E) n( d# O
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager( p& v% @" l; \2 i

Requirements:! q4 ~* w: X2 s  |
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
: \" B& N* s" b/ P3 N: o( q• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;: P$ W$ z& s8 p- C: U$ D
• Ability to lead and develop;
. }1 J, ^# W0 h' x6 ^. d! }% x- A* ~7 c• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;2 N- }9 X5 a8 C% _
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
. S, {- [# p9 _' r  D! s, J• Ability to work within deadlines;
  e+ i& G: w$ w  c) z• High level of creativity and innovation;7 Y# J1 }/ i4 L% E
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
