Job Responsibilities
: |& G0 ]& b+ j. y•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.8 ^6 x# x; g5 x
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. % {" B$ I+ x0 r1 `& ^5 c  Y
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
& ^1 Y2 ^4 c- w* ?4 X9 k•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
6 W* E* \5 \* A) @4 M% e1 i•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
0 r7 E6 @& H2 B/ Q( I' y) c. o•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.. r" V# H7 m8 N' c  ^, V& f5 g
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.5 E! r( q2 f( ?4 }/ m. h6 R+ ]2 a
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.* t1 Z2 E: V% v# B+ _
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 9 h7 ?/ j8 o# a' S+ |9 D' ~% g
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
8 Y2 [5 n1 z- J% H' w•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. 0 G1 w: F5 u$ O) g7 ~7 e
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
7 l5 h* ^9 ~3 D•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.' D8 M0 Y, L" l/ B  P4 ]/ `
•        Attend Cluster meetings. # ^1 \+ N5 y4 d9 r7 p$ W& J/ ?+ A$ @
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.( o/ w, u7 d% }1 U
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department # U5 N  ^9 \" [8 G% j7 f2 Q% g
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
9 x3 [' y4 w. m) I- X•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center3 I  k# ^0 ^, o8 G
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 7 C* }: t2 v$ {* r4 Z- J  B
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
" \' A( p; i: l1 z# k0 r8 R. q0 p& y3 T• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
; P' Q% t: R5 n0 C2 X• Ability to lead and develop;
9 k# U8 q: B; @• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;8 G8 G9 ?" [4 n
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
