To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.) T. g; u4 M0 C1 S

& }& e0 I3 C! x3 z5 U4 |" u- Z3 X8 ]• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.! I6 _3 B9 D! G2 `' l
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
: k3 _& n$ b6 u# k• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
( P' m( a% i/ n6 G• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
. J: i9 |3 v% l5 _) `0 s4 h• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
; q; F( T, D* G" C. H5 }• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;' x# q7 p/ `: d8 O( q1 ^
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;4 ~5 `0 E3 c9 f5 \9 z4 h# u8 p1 q
• Participate in trade shows;1 X0 ~; ?/ A# N
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
& c# y4 a  P8 ~• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;/ U1 K3 |. i4 e: D+ b
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
# j+ X+ u7 n: ^& C• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
+ U( P6 _4 L% M- F* L•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
& i# K( k, v9 b5 q% g2 c0 K• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
9 g& y! w& l; X! ]• Ability to lead and develop;; U" s3 C' q& Y0 l3 P' i
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;, T6 Y$ Z4 ]+ S/ `' f
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;6 M9 C- F4 ?, I/ ~( l+ z5 B
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;- J, `+ f6 _" v6 h

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
