Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
# }# K6 b7 I6 a9 {6 ^! ODays of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.

% d+ H( R/ X' N* V. `Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.  

Responsibilities include:

3 `9 d  L" Y8 q3 O9 E4 ODiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
1 I2 A; ^" j, {& i  @0 E  gRequisition parts and materials, as required.
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
7 B9 g0 Z' w/ E+ ~1 ]" u: CProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
9 f2 L4 y  a: c1 IOther assigned duties.

Qualifications:

% q5 z8 f8 j( I. \2 C+ eApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
8 Z3 w+ b8 m  C1 VApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.
