Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

; g; E' n/ i( u4 GResponsibilities include:
1 Z3 q: F+ ]6 Y" ?6 S; Z4 P5 l1 w8 k
1 k, o+ Y8 ^' U2 |- YDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
( @3 u1 d  o. p9 ~& L2 }" {/ g$ MRequisition parts and materials, as required.
$ x" `. ]8 d0 ?Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
) R- ^/ I0 v# E1 @9 L! `" J; UAccess technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.

Qualifications:
% L$ q1 D4 ]; h5 M1 W+ ?
+ u2 O" U: i  F: o1 f3 Q) b0 cApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
