Tour boat. These boats & the warden's boat are the only gas motors allowed on the lake. Tour boats are only allowed as far as Spirit Island; once you get past the narrows you don't have to hear 'em or deal with their wake...- e& @3 k" a: [, c/ r u1 O; v

/ g9 d* W; }5 s% CWhat a fantastic 3 days! Fishing was actually a bit slow, but that didn't really matter. Pics cannot possibly do justice to this place; the scope & scale of these mountains just cannot be conveyed in an image on a computer screen- in the south end of Maligne you're completely surrounded by huge mountains, cliffs & glaciers. It's truly an place that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. I hope some of you get to make this trip someday; I'm sure glad I did! f6 J+ ^8 l0 y/ a9 i/ t
