0 |' _- q$ {4 fNote: Introduce each new food individually and for 4-5 days before introducing any other new food.
' o3 o: p# l0 C$ P9 `; a- L+ CBabies do not require solid foods before 4-6 months of age. Until then, breast milk or formula provides the best form of nutrition for the child. Solids may be introduced in the following order:9 n$ @8 _- X# z9 U. z
4-6 moths -- CEREAL (start with rice, then later, barley, oatmeal, sobee.)) i5 m r4 t0 A5 n) u
5-7 months -- JUICE (Apple juice diluted with equal parts water, up to 120ml(4oz) once or twice daily. No orange or citrus juice until 1 year)1 F) F5 h, i C8 h2 N4 m' j
5-7 months--VEGETABLES (Squash, peas, sweet potato, carrots, (no spinach, broccoli.).Orang and yellow vegetables first, then green.8 _' G: L4 L0 Z, {2 Q' O! _# d- r3 f
6-7 months --FRUIT (Apple,pear, banana,peach,apricot,etc)0 ~3 M. y" N0 _, _8 U, x, L
7-8 months--DAIRY (Yoghurt, cottage cheese, mild processed cheese.), [" ^ ?$ j) H2 c
8-9 months--Meat & Fish (Chicken, veal, beef, lamb. (no pork or fish until at least 1 year).

B3 s; `& e Q3 S1 P/ f: C* \IN bottle fed babies, iron fortified formula should be used until 12 months of age. After 1 year homogenized milk can be used.
, w1 z P8 ~, v$ Q) y3 Q/ n7 `1. All solids including cereal should be fed by teaspoon and not mixed in the formula.
+ d1 {; b/ R5 j1 I2. Start with 1 to 2 teaspoons twice daily and increase according to your chld's needs.

* s' V# [4 i9 I9 q. z( W$ C4. Individual food products are preferred to mixed cereals and other mixed foods.
