4 z% L2 m: e, f6 A: B& @+ dPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
# a* x$ K$ ^% L# p* @' s• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person, N* f$ Z6 X( x1 X8 d( L' l$ _ z" t
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST2 H& _# M8 X+ b3 }
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
6 G$ O$ X4 P9 n3 h* t• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
; {1 ~' j: U2 z [( W• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
7 G3 t& [. i ~• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker! s/ X: O, R6 E
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events$ R; @) ~8 S6 p7 E
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events/ J; U$ \- k. o! Q/ j2 {
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean J& m. Z# Y2 r$ ?6 k+ v, P( G1 D
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters" |% o# ?. z5 a2 t
• Maintain front counter service files% {; K7 J# b) U" j& v
• Perform general office duties as assigned( h' i- q# T: P& m; X. D" z
• Report to ISP Program Manager

• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset+ F7 r9 T, d/ }* t3 e5 R) r" {9 z0 A
• Good English writing and oral communication skills% |4 @) }4 A; x9 N% J* h
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients5 u2 G; _. i8 Z* Z, P
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Knowledge of immigrant services

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ) a0 D9 w9 P- k8 L- V" p
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
