# P: b2 g+ _( I B6 |/ I$ uPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
# `$ s" r- H; g- w0 J: J7 E+ q' ~• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
6 G F$ V9 v. j6 E6 e" a• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately8 I6 F; k. t9 o7 t* B. d, n
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
7 W/ E' ~2 |5 w, W* s7 B% ?1 W• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents- Y: U; k/ C6 ?- s2 m, K
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters7 ^- t0 w, T0 E+ I

• Report to ISP Program Manager

# c1 _9 ~- }" t; S+ K/ U0 a• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
! Q* I; `: u4 m• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook# G( z1 h/ F# g* @0 A) _
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately / J0 O1 { n/ B& ~* Y
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds

Qualifications:' x6 c* f6 r M2 y- b
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
. T9 t' g& Y' u• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment& s8 h9 |# o) b# e3 d9 U
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism* `1 ~$ y, [; W8 u' d3 o K
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision$ d! d# p. z1 \; X7 l, g! t: b& ~# u( U
