1 y5 T+ u- F. z% I5 @3 EPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST( d) b- G# b2 G! T0 y, M0 _
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately+ g, F7 T) f& D$ L" U# |
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter' }( a; z5 b3 C1 r4 L4 E6 ]0 D9 e1 K
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
- k' y# \4 L( n+ s• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker7 X6 j4 Z, H8 [! |" {1 T
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters
) e* s( H% \" }" n9 w• Maintain front counter service files

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person9 ]- O, f3 @ I" A
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset1 l6 J- y* J9 h
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
) E+ _8 J# S" b+ p% Y( R' M• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
4 R3 o8 X4 I& d! L( T• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:( w7 [/ C$ k8 z$ \! J% l7 g, x
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
* G2 e+ |5 V! y1 o/ |7 C; n• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment, q- ^. h T6 i2 z- W: k
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism9 Z' N; m% Y: N$ g7 }/ P; X1 D# M
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision. R3 x$ Z3 F3 l( [: R
