Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
+ m0 ^% ^" g' z+ j0 }•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
5 T! W" e& O& n9 r5 S•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
6 X6 i" }1 h; x) E( E- N8 W( J•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
+ R% `' |; G7 L5 p•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

: x3 J7 |0 G4 L9 D, z•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
' X; A8 v# y. ~" X•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
$ G' a* H. }* e2 |•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
