4 d5 L% m5 z2 I* \! H4 f% W) d•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
9 {9 I+ e7 C- Z1 Z, T0 L  k' d7 ]•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
" {2 j  T3 p6 q: g) b. X9 U•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
8 |% w2 Z8 B" Y! G•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
& A, L7 b/ Z; D•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
! x+ i2 k6 j2 j•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

& H/ V# i4 J: Y6 s+ X5 M•        Completion of secondary education is required
1 q8 `; Q8 B3 I+ \  Q•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
