What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
* n# l, N) E4 p8 n9 q* C: CEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:1 _. ^9 v4 T) |0 k( p* e& Y
1) Any bodily injury or death;
3 l3 {4 G" g. F' b1 R6 P0 L+ y2) A Hit-and-Run;. j5 {( B% k/ |5 u( b
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
, z9 Z0 f2 y4 ?4 J4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
0 u' O0 G: a q: K' U0 m/ I C5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
