Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:

2) A Hit-and-Run;' y' K0 W; K; B: A) [
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
# y, U" _. d5 {9 U4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;+ Q" o& ^6 T( O( V/ J
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

+ X. X9 O8 z4 `6 }& MNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
