Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
: }) X6 t# j, N# N, I1) Any bodily injury or death;
3 m3 j/ ]3 I z% U$ Q7 T7 j- W2) A Hit-and-Run;
G1 A: z7 Y" c: h: [3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
2 P5 b a) d, B4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;% Y' x7 Y7 c* U" L F$ v
5) An out-of-province vehicle. [* D, U0 y' X% b# P: i
% k5 w( t( q2 b( Q7 tNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
