Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist./ G! h2 N1 ?7 y+ M  e$ r* A+ B
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
" ^" [3 p7 V5 @9 e! G; q6 @& U•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
3 H* s' i8 V' V•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.3 f- _% L" \2 N0 R5 t+ ^
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.1 O1 _' ?; A& G" I+ C* N
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.# Z; I, X3 ^, {% F5 G; h) G
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. : B/ K# t# N, _2 Q
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.9 n$ v2 _$ E; r' z+ C
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
$ V; p; F9 B9 L. T  |) |* I•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.$ q  |6 [; t! [$ ?. ]0 s' U
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).8 O7 @& S& g+ ~4 c
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.' ~6 n: b: }5 `- w
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.- B/ L3 f" o# y7 _1 k: @, a! d
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.0 z1 X8 ^7 v0 v$ ?7 g
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

! {$ V! p& R3 Z5 `7 {# d5 f; j9 z•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
: `" U2 M' Y% K/ d% i( v! d; k8 PRequirements:
" n# }0 A8 h- h% {% P, J8 c•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ! Z* c+ Q& c4 }8 S
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
+ m, l! b9 e- E5 L; h7 S* s. Y  {•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
* d. w% j' a* _8 K•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
; H) s3 {! K2 n7 y3 t: F•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
