Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
) q+ z' G5 n2 J" I•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
/ c0 R) c# T: k9 H0 u+ F•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
4 k# I+ Y$ x# \9 w•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
5 t( g" l  h! T  R5 G- H•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
/ E6 I4 \+ v9 a& k•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
4 B4 h0 `( I* G& ^& I•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
  Q/ J/ K  X6 i  m•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
" c& Y/ c( U- C5 h- g/ L•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
( ^, |" ^7 v" n7 e, d: U* z•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
1 l7 }  r$ H0 ^. {/ _1 f•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
2 W# o+ Y8 B( a/ j( C5 C' L9 F3 c•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
# [  C5 ]6 u' h2 l3 F4 e3 G•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, _  t- ~: @, h9 q* @•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
- p0 Z- l/ R; U- Y1 E•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
3 ~- n) w1 a  w2 C•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
