Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

, K- c Z2 ^; Z( j6 A• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.0 Z# k$ z/ `; i, u; k
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
5 m% i) N9 I L; s {" C$ W; `• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
5 M$ q2 s& ^/ F3 w5 B8 [. a; s$ ~• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
, z- B2 V$ |. M( d9 k' l• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
2 p" _! T- Y i( q" i9 W0 k• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
5 O, f4 y& x& \& [; C7 }• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
) I7 R1 u7 m9 P6 T; ^4 k• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
4 A! N5 s* v) _5 P3 X• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program. v) F8 g* i% m0 E2 [" R; S
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
) U. t S2 `" I! q# Q$ |3 d* q7 c• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
& Y; p0 E6 t4 g• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
* t# A8 B, |/ F. d/ _• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

5 m* F2 a6 _8 h5 s0 ^6 Z, {7 IRequirements:
5 u% y/ X: X# K( i; i• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. # [8 Y5 z1 [7 K. X
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. & W7 i$ Z6 u h Z8 M' ?% o" [4 L
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
, u8 p; N& j% `( w2 c& S* r• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.2 h- N. u4 E: t Y( ^
• CHRP Designation is an asset.9 ]5 ]; s' w$ l: c! t
