Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
+ _+ o3 k8 j/ s, G7 Y* qReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:9 P7 {% w* W. n( ?  i4 T
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment./ }( _0 r* |( W( b
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.$ ^  d, E% t; F( ^1 q3 W: y" D
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.2 @. ]" a" r) N1 z8 ~
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.7 A( F& ]9 T* Y2 n& q. {/ a- h
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 ~8 J. T/ _  b: M- R: C1 d•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
( j9 C% [  c# t. a•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.! A) Y* Q& J2 {4 u/ ~5 ]
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
5 l; a; ~1 p, b5 T•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
- f4 R& F8 S5 G/ g•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
2 S  q3 a* ]6 S$ J' Q+ _& W; u•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.0 `  l* x' u" T+ Y5 l4 Y8 z; ], ?+ o) S
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# E, u. ~4 e: K- k) a5 q•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.9 m$ V- f& _' r5 p
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

5 x8 c# h" O- A) @# @: O1 A; FRequirements:8 S* M6 f0 l1 ], ?  t7 J
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! y$ w2 @) W6 g6 U- n•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
7 L8 C; F" l1 W% z" C# T0 _3 w•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
  a$ U* ~2 p2 H" u•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.& s2 W( E: m( O/ {3 x7 }
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
