Description
: {7 d& k" w. p' X- i( T% DTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
7 Q% ^" Q) w2 }3 bReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:3 d( E6 |$ S( S
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment./ @5 }% n* `9 R- L
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.9 [  a$ l" ]  G" m1 l3 {- \
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
" k: W8 |% R  y. x' ^9 u•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.& F6 C# R3 o* C+ E
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
* l( x6 k; b6 ]1 {/ c•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
2 s$ @  `  j- O5 k0 m" g•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
( S* I9 j& @, t7 C- i•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.# _/ p# ]& w2 m; Q5 a3 b  M8 p
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).& p6 w3 }9 U5 z& e& I0 S+ J: S) X" I
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.8 l% B! N) c5 y- }
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
) q# P& d: `' M. L! E) h/ a6 M- x•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.* D& |" \' m4 C4 Q1 |
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.3 `8 Q4 q% q8 |0 h5 l+ Q
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.- ]8 p4 i* I+ Q' X4 L- w
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.  M3 X+ r6 Q- ]2 Q9 ]" E! }

Requirements:- W& o- _# O( p
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & U& o+ O5 I+ v1 Z
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. & M1 K8 o. Q: v5 o: @+ \2 v8 w  M
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
4 O" g' b' a3 V  `4 I•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.2 k' _7 B0 N7 j+ ?1 n1 z2 t3 o
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
