Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
2 U$ N8 B& n# v. ^0 W4 R: b! |Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
; J# @) J9 K4 o( X* F; J•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.' V: W" h+ w/ G3 @1 ]; O& l  L
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.8 u- q5 T2 f* B
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
$ [$ `8 N1 \2 `6 y) K•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
2 ?* d" @0 R; G•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. . w) E+ O. U- f6 v; Y+ f9 j
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.9 D; E6 R5 I, S' C- _6 H7 P
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
- T* [* B# s* y1 \•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers." _! v# }. }1 |# p8 c% o
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
4 d6 t; r4 G# S& j* J7 {  I% {•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
& x7 W$ L7 G$ y8 k1 `; }•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
7 L( B) V$ o* c, G4 ]: D- Z•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
& g  p% k1 u; e9 f  c5 y•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
+ B; o# K" u  Z" b. z0 N; a•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
5 i7 @+ V+ J& g+ O. b; O•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:" e/ ]/ |4 r8 x! I
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
2 A$ B9 U5 h0 _1 G* G3 t•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. " h$ R) N+ @7 j
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. : ]8 {$ U! n5 r  t/ [) K: i; k
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.5 l9 I7 ~1 a+ V8 `! i
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
