Shifts: 8am -5pm, with a one hour lunch break

Job Description:
/ \. h' b5 {7 |  ~9 p: R•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
3 M0 k# [6 R1 y, r•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
, B- {4 {, I/ ]0 `# a" q8 q) j•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
/ E1 j* Y0 B: V# `- J•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
6 \) S: i$ @  i0 n- A% `•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
7 z, I: g- A+ @" |•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
* H7 r* `7 T; w/ u6 l) k2 M•        Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
" @2 E0 Z1 W8 C  `6 E) _* L•        Completion of secondary school is required
+ C) Q$ Y/ s3 X4 C•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program
or
; ?; G# w4 }- |/ J* U) @* tA combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
: w& H; J; M5 r5 ?7 e7 R•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
