Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ n9 E( e# \3 U; B# D0 zMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
0 v# _* x4 b, p" |5 E• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
. H1 k6 U6 _5 ?! u9 Q0 J• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.2 h+ K6 _+ V; P7 U+ B) o
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. W2 ]! Y) E3 h- N4 I2 B. a3 _- oo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release0 l K, ]$ q1 H* ]9 |/ c3 e4 ?
• Assist where needed in application questions.

o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
. A W5 O" y& P# Go Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed. T8 n: C( L0 I+ V; y
• Track and report all warranty failures% M2 U8 u# Q* c* ^5 m& y% j
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.: Z" q5 h1 O. q4 q; O
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports% E4 }) M& n& a
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.4 b8 ?7 |9 _5 H; i
o Assist in writing and new product specification0 R: E% d6 t2 i% \4 z& {9 ?
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.8 z' j$ {; E- ]# X
o Act as technical applications expert on development team. o% E S/ A$ H
• Assist in Sales support & training.% e+ E5 o9 {, N8 S7 a* T% }
• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.6 G3 S9 I1 q. l1 {" u
