Scope and Purpose of Job
6 j0 E1 ^8 n+ x$ KEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
+ K, X! i" K& C5 p2 LMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
& y/ {2 a- Q" z( P6 u1 |( G•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
$ H3 a" g, `# L9 Q* K•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
- O5 b) V- M/ E1 _: q7 V•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
% n1 T: z) a+ F1 L! `8 q* Yo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
4 T: w9 y! Q& w( Z# \* Y8 ?  qo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
, B+ @' ~( P. r" O0 ?o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
/ N3 N' j0 y( ^$ s: Eo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
' j$ T: K# k5 y4 w! k; G/ No        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
3 j6 B( V% _5 ~* n- Eo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
# g, q; y$ l7 B( s•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5 ?7 \* M+ x' }8 J( u# h$ X6 P. A5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
: X# W- v, h, {7 N•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.

•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
